Good Lord! You will probably think me a fool, but if I had the choice of actually conversing with either Deitch or Crumb, I would have chosen the former.
What was Deitch like?

Sounds like you had a good time. I'd seen Crumb at a convention in Dallas and he appeared to me to be cranky & sarcastic, though affable (probably all the noise at the con was getting to him). I guess he's mellowed with family life and age as most of us do. Thanks for the strip.
