The excitement at our house this week is all about Saturday’s Dauber Dash at Henricus Historical Park. Tad is thrilled to be doing another mud run, even if it’s not as insanely challenging as last fall’s Tough Mudder, and The Boy is heartened by the fact that there is a “Mud Guppies” category for ages 8 and up. No, he’s not old enough this year, but in just over a year, he’ll qualify, and that’s something to look forward to for sure.
Even if the idea of slogging through mud in the hot sun doesn’t sound like your idea of a good time, consider checking out some of the other events coming up at Henricus this summer.
