Posh, the sassy and chic home accents boutique in Midlothian, closed earlier this year. It was one of my go-to favorites for lamps, small tables and hostess items.
I miss it a lot, especially when I’m on the lookout for memorable gifts, and that’s why I thought I’d miss it even more this holiday season.
But I won’t. That’s because the owners, Debbie Brooks, Gray Maher and Amy Satterfield, will be opening Posh in a miniature version beginning Nov. 1 and keeping it open for six weeks.
“Petite” Posh will be open Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Nov. 1 through Dec. 15, in a new studio space near the old location in the shopping center on Midlothian Turnpike at Village Mill Drive. (They’re next to Wendy’s and across from the Primrose School, and you can’t miss their festive black awning and cheery red door.)
The “Posh Chicks,” as they like to call themselves, are excited to help you decorate and pull together gifts this season for many on your list.
Starting in 2013, Posh will be open two days a week. They’ve also planned some special pop-up shops for the spring, and they have a couple of big retail shows in the works, so stay tuned.
