I’ve always been a huge fan of Hickory Chair and their signature lines created by internationally recognized designers. At Virginia Wayside, these are well represented. Mariette Himes Gomez’s collection always impresses me, and Albert Sack’s modern pieces are a new favorite. One of his rooms is pictured at right. Also included in Hickory Chair’s lineup is their James River collection, inspired by Virginia’s plantations and early American hardwood and upholstered pieces.
