I’m crazy about the iron stool. At 19 inches high, it's $275. The selection of transitional and traditional table lamps featured online is great. (Thumbs-up to the Ivory Gourd lamp priced at $600. It would be an instant update to a formal space.) There’s also art and some accessories, such as candles, trays and Florentine frames.

Then head to the store at 6227 River Road to see these items — and so many more — in person. Once you’re there, you’ll discover the Kellogg Collection’s high-end upholstery lines, most with custom cushion and fabric options. Don’t miss their shelves of pillows in the back, either. Most have been made exclusively for the store, and some are also offered online. But when you see and feel these pillows (and admire their fringe), you’ll know why they’re well priced at $200 and up.

Store hours at the Kellogg Collection are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday.
