There are so many fresh and lovely patterns in Yves Delorme’s Spring-Summer 2012 line, as well as so many products that delight and tempt.
For one, I love the soothing palette of the linens in their new “Balade” collection (pictured). Available in celadon and lavender shades, the “Balade” pattern features graceful, white branches inspired by fruit trees. The duvet cover (full priced in the Full/Queen size at $410) reverses to white polka dots, giving the design an unexpectedly pert and playful twist. A soothing silver and gray-toned collection called “Sous-Bois” boasts a white fern motif. It pairs wonderfully well with grassy, fern greens.
Sale time is a great opportunity not only to stock up on bedding but also to save on linens for the table. Yves Delorme carries tablecloths, napkins and place mats in a variety of sizes, and they’re offered in rich and captivating colors. Check out deeply nuanced shades like “finelle” (a blue) and “figue” (a plum). Both captivating colors are included in their damask-patterned “Villandry” line.
I was delighted to discover that Yves Delorme now sells beach towels, too. They’re available both in solids and patterns. If you’re a fan of sea-coral motifs, don’t miss their “Recif” towel. It features a super-plush pile and elegant embroidered coral branches. It normally sells for $165. Scoop one up through Saturday for $132. This towel delivers timeless style and luxury.
If solid towels are more your style, their “Croisiere” deck-sized pool towels ($125) — available in seven shades — are stunning, too, especially in deep fushia and apple green.
Yves Delorme is in Stony Point Fashion Park. Store hours are Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
