I am SO ready for spring. In fact, I’ve got on a knee-length dress with bare legs and pumps even though it’s only about 41 degrees outside because I’m so sick of tights and leggings that I just couldn’t bear to put them on this morning. I’ve always chosen fashion over practicality, and right now I feel the need to channel spring with my wardrobe selection.

This Thursday, you can get a taste of spring at Eurotrash’s event during
Carytown First. The boutique has a fresh selection of floral and nautical spring frocks and is offering 25 percent off one new spring item when you shop between 6 and 8 p.m. on Thursday. Can’t make it? Call and set up an appointment for spring personal shopping with owner Anne Hughes, and you’ll get 20 percent off your spring purchase.

While you’re wandering in Carytown, also check out the second location of fab’rik (3018 W. Cary St.). It’s larger than the first Richmond location at Short Pump Town Center and is packed with affordable spring staples. Last week, I took home two sundresses that can be paired with sweaters and cowboy boots now and flip-flops later this summer, along with a chunky multichain necklace for about $115. Not too shabby.
